Components of the SeeKlingerTM
SeeKlingerTM Module is a wireless tracking and flow analysis system for hospital assets and consumables. SeeKlinger is a joint development between PCT and VerdaSee, with the latter providing the RFID technologies to create tags appropriate to the various assets and consumables a hospital will desire to trace. Optimizing the workflow associated with flow of hospital assets and consumables can form the basis for process improvement activities in the hospital. Just as a person in MASH would see Klinger to get something, the modern hospital will use SeeKlinger to find devices and get them to the right spot at the right time.
SeeKlinger Software: software that monitors the identity and location of each asset or consumable specified by the hospital in their business rules. The software comes with a number of flow control and productivity process improvement routines, but through customization and user selection, the hospital can design worker flow processes, monitor outcomes, and refine techniques. Assets are accessed just in time, reducing warehousing costs, and reducing loss through theft or laziness.
SeeKlinger Hardware: RFID antennae, cabling and associated hardware as well as the computer server that operates the module.
AssetFlowTM Software: automated analytical processes to evaluate flow of assets and consumables, and the workflow processes that relate the location and movement of these hospital resources. Ultimately, optimal par levels can be set based on hard data, with resultant cost savings.
AssetFlowTM Consultation / Customization: a service to expand on the knowledgebase of productivity, efficiency and analytical tools included in ProFlow software to adapt to the specific needs and circumstances of each hospital for productivity or process improvement initiatives. .
VerdaSee NavigatorTM Tags: RFID devices attached to specific assets and consumables caselots, automatically and passively monitored by the SeeKlinger Software.
