Matt Davies has been responsible for programming and development of company software, including MyHealthArchive, DisasterLink, and LocatorSuite. He has also been responsible for day to day tasking, performance reports, incident handling, training, time tracking, and time off requests. He Lead head-first development J2EE platform to solve issues (EDI, data storage, Business Intelligence) to which the standards are in flux in an agile environment. He worked with partners such as Symantec, Google, BioSignia to integrate services. He architected and built HIPAA-compliant multi-site service oriented data warehouse to support all PatientCentral products. (SOAP and REST interfaces) and architected and built EDI interfaces to connect PatientCentral to EMR’s, pharmacies, physician registries, regional and national health information networks using SOAP, HL7 transports. He built physician portals to PatientCentral data warehouse incorporating HIPAA and customer business rules. Utilized JBoss SEAM and Struts for framework incorporating JSP, Servlet, JSF, XML for presentation and REST, SOAP for EDI. He built high-performance service oriented application clusters utilizing a layered approach providing data storage, application server, caching, web, and perimeter security layers and utilized Hibernate caching and memcache clusters to dramatically improve performance. He implemented change control to ensure product quality. He architected and began implementation of MyHealthArchive Personal Health Information Management System. First generation PHR built on Struts using Hibernate. Built using n-tier principles in a J2EE environment. He architected and built CryptoEngine: a cryptography engine to secure sensitive health information for the PatientCentral data warehouse using AES encryption in a J2EE environment. He co-wrote RFP responses and presented for governmental agencies.

Matt Davies has been Principal Software Engineer, Symantec, Inc. as part of the Enterprise Management Group working on a brand new product which will simplify enterprise security management. He has been Senior Software Engineer at Tynt, Inc., a web analytics company boasting more than 600k clients and tens of billions monthly data points. He has been Principal Architect, ShopShield.net, a secure payment processor offering virtual Visa cards and a suite of tools to protect a person’s identity while shopping over the Internet. He was co-founder of Septcon, LLC, a company that brought large business services to small business (eCommerce, warehousing, fulfillment, bookkeeping, promotional products). He was Systems & Support Manager, ES3 Inc. and Spearhead Innovations, Ltd, a contractor to Air Force deploying vital applications to many DoD sites. He was Senior System Administrator, ARCANVS, Inc., a 24x7 E-commerce company selling digital certificates for identification purpose. He was a Network Analyst, Network Operations Center, BYU. And was System Administrator, MediScene, Ltd.
