You need us if:

  • You don’t know how to begin to implement health information technology in your clinical setting.
  • You don’t know What an HIE is, what Meaningful Use is, what HITECH and ARRA are, and how not knowing hurts you and your patients.
  • You do know about HIEs, Meaningful Use, HITECH and ARRA, but you could use some guidance with assessing your situation, finding vendors, integrating technologies, keeping costs low.
  • You are a physician/provider or a group of physicians/providers and you need to know what present and coming regulation is requiring or encouraging you to do, or you want to maximize Medicare payments for being able to show the quality of your work (The PQRI program).
  • You are a hospital or health system that needs to maximize reimbursement opportunities through ARRA and need to ensure EDI between patients, physicians/providers and ambulatory services.
  • You are a Health Information Exchange or a Regional Health Information Organization or a Regional Extension Center and need to implement technology for ensuring data integrity, EDI, and full-scale network participation.
  • You and your organization already have EMRs and EDI capability, but need to involve patients to improve efficiency, coordination of care and population-based health. .

Healthcare Providers:

HITECH requirements of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, known as ARRA promises time limited financial rewards for health care providers who can demonstrate they meet requirements for ‘Meaningful Use’ of health information technology which is intended to improve the quality and efficiency of health care delivery.

The ‘Meaningful Use’ requirements are staged with certain criteria and measures required to receive Meaningful Use payments in 2011 and 2012, and additional requirements that must be met in years 2013 and 2015. The staging of these requirements was based on a balance of their importance and the ability of the industry to meet them. Organizations that meet the initial set of criteria for 2011 will receive 70% of their Medicare incentive payments in 2011 and 2012.

PatientCentral Technologies enables compliance with Meaningful Use through implementation of MyHealthArchive and technological capabilities which help physicians and health care providers with decision support and population based health management tools to achieve better outcomes using technology which enables bi-directional exchange of information with their patients.

We can help you:

  • Improve quality and safety through implementing decision-support tools which can identify patients who require time-based follow-up;
  • Maximize efficiency and coordination of care  through secure messaging and portals designed to optimize communication between physicians/providers and between physicians/providers and their patients ;
  • Engage patients in their care through dynamic education and self-monitoring tools;
  • Optimize treatment efficacy through EDI enabling review of patient performance and participation in treatment;
  • Improve health status of patients through wellness and physician prescribed disease management tools;
  • Ensure privacy and security of patients’ health data.
  • Create a Wellness Program specifically for your practice.
  • Create a Disease Self Management Program for patients with chronic illnesses who are at risk for high system utilization and complications associated with illness and/or noncompliance with treatment.
  • Implement a comprehensive quality report system which provides insight into practice efficiency, treatment efficacy, system utilization and impact of treatment on patient and population-based health.
